Portugal-based design and architecture studio LIKEarchitects realized a stunning light installation for IKEA at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, Portugal. Combining 1,200 LEDARE lightbulbs affixed to 1,200 HEMMA floor lamp bases, the installation named LEDscape presents an interactive playground for visitors to walk through an illuminated maze. The piece comes alive at night when it is lit gradually, pulsing at different rhythms.

The installation aims to demystifying the preconceived ideas about LED technology and emphasizes the relevance of this product in the sustainability of the future.
